Asian Desserts
Asian desserts are full of unique flavours and textures. Many use ingredients like rice, coconut, and beans. They deliver a wide range of tastes, from sweet to subtly savoury. Many desserts also offer a cooling effect, making them perfect for warmer weather.

Some Desserts we offer:

Grass Jelly Drink

Grass jelly is popular in Asian cuisine for its cooling properties, especially during the summer. Also called leaf jelly or herb jelly, it comes from the Chinese plant Mesona, which has a mild, slightly bitter taste.

To make it, cooks boil the stalks and leaves of the Mesona plant with other ingredients, then cool the mixture to create a jelly. In Taiwan, Grass Jelly is known as Xian Cao and is used as a topping for bubble tea, shaved ice, and other desserts. Often, it melts into a thick, smooth dessert served with toppings like tapioca. Our Grass Jelly Drink contains premium grass jelly cubes simmered with aromatic natural honey to create a delicate and silky beverage. It is the perfect cooling refreshment for hot days.

Mixed Congee

Mixed Congee combines eight nutritious grains, including oat, simmered with premium dark brown sugar. This dessert originates from Okinawa in Japan and delivers a sweet taste with a rich, pleasant aroma. You can enjoy it hot or cold, making it perfect all year round. Mixed Congee also works well with toppings such as rice balls or tapioca pearls.

Mung Bean Soup

Mung Bean Soup is a sweet dessert made from mung beans, a common legume in Asian cuisine. To prepare it, soak mung beans in water until tender, then heat them with sugar and water until the mixture becomes thick and soupy. You can enjoy this dessert hot or cold. Toppings like sesame seeds, nuts, fruit, glutinous rice balls, or chewy tapioca pearls add extra texture and flavour.

Peanut Soup

Peanut Soup is a creamy dessert made from peanuts and is popular across Asia, especially in Southeast Asia. High quality raw peanuts are boiled until soft and then blended with water and sugar to create a thick, smooth soup. You can serve it warm or cold, and it offers both a rich taste and nutritious benefits.
