Are Plastic Bubble Tea Straws Recyclable?

However, plastic straws designed for multiple uses and clearly labelled as reusable are permitted under the Environmental Protection (Plastic Straws, Cotton Buds and Stirrers) (England) Regulations 2020.

Not all recycling centres accept straws because of their small size and shape. Nevertheless, the material itself is recyclable.

Offering incentives or discounts to customers who bring their own straws can encourage sustainable behaviour and reduce inventory costs.
