How To Prepare Quick-Cook Tapioca Pearls

Method

Equipment:

  • Large Pan with a lid
  • Colander or a Sieve
  • Bowl

Suggested Serving Size: 50g cooked pearls per 500ml drink

Instructions:

  1. Boil water in a Large Pan
  2. Add Tapioca Pearls to the pan at a ratio of 1g:6ml, make sure you regularly stir
  3. Once the Tapioca Pearls starts floating reduce to medium heat and let it cook for 5 minutes. Stir the balls occasionally to prevent sticking to the pot and to each other.
  4. Take the pan off the heat put the lid on and let it rest for 5 minutes
  5. Strain the Tapioca with a sieve and rinse them with cold water
  6. Soak the Tapioca in a bowl with syrup

The cooked tapioca balls are suggested to be consumed within 4-6 hours.
